INOVAÇÃO SOCIAL E INVESTIGAÇÃO APRECIATIVA COMO ABORDAGENS TRANSFORMACIONAIS DA SUSTENTABILIDADE

Resumo

Este ensaio objetiva trazer contribuições advindas das conexões relacionais estabelecidas entre Inovação Social (IS) e Investigação Apreciativa (IA) aplicadas ao campo de estudos ligados às transições para a sustentabilidade, sob a ótica transformacional. Na análise, discute-se ambos os constructos como abordagens capazes de responder a necessidades emergentes (e urgentes) em face das grandes questões societais e ambientais, algumas de natureza disruptiva. As transições para a sustentabilidade foram reconhecidas principalmente como um desafio social, enquanto a IS e a IA foram delineadas com suas estratégias comuns e relacionais associadas ao desenvolvimento dos chamados experimentos de transição. O fundamento está centralizado na produção de conhecimento e no desenvolvimento de práticas alinhadas com as transformações requeridas na luta pela sustentabilidade. Nesse contexto, as Instituições de Ensino Superior foram consideradas entes transformacionais abertos a experimentos e pressupostos do pensamento relacional ligados a designs colaborativos e inclusivos. Por fim, apresenta-se o enquadramento resultante dos referenciais utilizados, os quais expressam as contribuições a que se chegou no campo de estudos das transições para a sustentabilidade com base em trabalhos que analisaram IS e IA como eixos centrais da temática discutida neste ensaio, sob a ótica transformacional.
